THE TECHNICAL DESIGN TEAM

Our Technical Design team designs, implements and maintains complex systems, workflows and content for combat and interactivity. Our Technical Designers actively collaborate with artists, animators, programmers and other design departments throughout our studio to develop content from beginning to end, working with a broad range of multi-disciplinary tasks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Senior / Principal Technical Designer, your main tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Primarily you work with technically complex designs and implementations using proprietary visual scripting workflows and off-the-shelf software;
  • Occasionally you will also be modeling, rigging and animating as well as interacting with traversal, destruction and visual effect systems (where your work will range from the creation of prototypes to polishing content);
  • You are responsible for putting the final touches on content, ensuring that the content is clean and efficient. Using your technical knowledge, you will leverage existing systems to get the most out of the content.

WHO YOU ARE 

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Are experienced with graph-based scripting and are proficient in Maya and/or Max;
  • Have experience as a Technical Designer, or a background in one or more related fields (e.g. Game Design, Animation, Rigging, Modeling, Visual Effects).
