This summer, we're excited to be part of Game On, a new
interactive exhibition at NEMO
Science Museum in Amsterdam that celebrates the creativity, technology, and
communities behind games.
Running from 11 July to 26 October, Game On explores
how games have evolved over the years and the many ways they shape our lives
today: from inspiring creativity and problem-solving to bringing people
together through shared experiences. Whether you're a lifelong gamer or picking
up a controller for the very first time, the exhibition offers something for
everyone.
As an Amsterdam-based studio, we're proud to see our Horizon
franchise featured alongside the people, technologies, and stories that make
games such a powerful creative medium. Visitors will be able to explore how
modern games are made, experience iconic hardware from across gaming history,
and discover the many different careers that contribute to bringing interactive
worlds alive.
Beyond the exhibition itself, NEMO's Maker Space invites
visitors to dive even deeper into game development. You can design your own
game level, play projects created by students from Amsterdam University of
Applied Sciences, and learn more about the creative process behind making
games.
Game On is part of NEMO's broader Play theme, which
explores the power, joy, and impact of play through science, art, and
technology. We're honored to be included in an exhibition that celebrates games
not only as entertainment, but as a form of innovation, artistic expression,
and human connection. If you're visiting Amsterdam this summer, be sure to stop
by NEMO Science Museum and experience Game On for yourself.
